The turbo350 uses two brass fittings for the steel cooler lines to screw into. Remove these two fittings. The two brass fittings will have a NTP thread size. (national pipe thread size.) The TH350 transmission uses two accumulators. The accumulator for second gear, shown here, is located in the transmission case. It uses a large heavy-duty spring. It’s a common practice for transmission builders to leave out the spring during rebuilding (and some shift kits recommend it), which significantly firms and shortens the 1-2 shift.
