I've used Instacart for years with no issues, but today this exact scam happened to me, and I won't be using it again. The shopper picked out our items suspiciously quickly, and added 10x quantities to expensive items, adding on over $100 to the order. As a Gold-cart level Instacart shopper since 2020, this job is one of my favorite jobs I've ever done. You just get the App, shop for people, and then delivery their groceries. Scan the barcodes of the items in the App, put them in the cart, then use the Instacart green shopper card to pay for the items at checkout.
