The 2020 F250 uses a shorter rear block, looks to be 2" vs. the 17-19 3.25". That difference again, has no affect on 37's but might give a saggy rear look with 2.5" up front. You said adding rear blocks, if needed, isn't a problem.

in this video I'll do a walk around of my 2022 Ford f250 that is leveled on 37s. it has a carli commuter level with racline compass wheels in an 18x9 -12 off...I am wanting to go with about a 36 or 37 inch tire on my stock 17" rim. My current setup is a 4x4 Superduty with the stock 17" aluminum (Alcoa style) wheels. I also have a 2" leveling kit on the truck. The 32" tires I have now have alot of room left in the fenders, and plenty of clearance around the springs. The 6.2 with 3.73s will be a dog, I'm willing to bet even with 4.30s. Yes, you'll need to move up to about a 4.30 gear to have the same drivability. I have a 2017 F250 6.2L 3.73 with the 275/70r18 tires. Those tires are basically 33's and it does just fine, but you would definitely want a steeper gear with 37's.The arms have a relief where a 37 would hit and the sway bar is also curved to avoid tires. My shop said the trucks will fit 37s on stock tires without rubbing. Might be testing that soon. The 6.2 is a lot cheaper/easier to maintain. As long as your not towing all the time there is really no need for a diesel in my opinion. My 6.2 is faster 0-60 than my cummins was it just doesn't have the low end torque of the diesel. Not leveled but 35's on 20" wheels vs 34.3" on 18" wheels if it helps.

If you decide you want a 79 F250 Dana 44, then also pickup the matching rear Dana 60 out of the same truck. Both will be the same width and both will be 8 x 6.5. In my YJ, I'm running a 79 F250 front Dana 44 converted to 5 x 5.5 using F150 Dana 44 knuckles out. Rear is a mid-90s 8.8 out of an F150, which is also 5 x 5.5.

I plan to go with the real 35" x 12.50 size on some custom offset wheels, the stock tires and wheels are pizza cutters.
