Well, I discovered the cause after half an hour of troubleshooting. Apparently the variable fDefaultFoV= controls the distance of the power armor UI display. I had it mirroring my main FoVs (1st/3rd person), which was 100. Removing it from my Fallout4.ini caused the HUD to scale properly with this fix.It's available as patch file for default UI size and smaller UI size. It's the same file as for Horizon 1.9.1, because there are no changes made in the interface files. Fixed: The crosshair of all mods/vanilla were horizontally misaligned (a bit too far to the left). This mod properly converts load screens, scopes, the Power Armor Rainbox and all the 3d icons you see in menus to a 21:9 aspect ratio. Next do the same for the second Fallout4Prefs.ini located in wherever your steam is installed then steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout 4. Run the game from Fallout New Vegas vse_loader.exe. If you have the 4GB patch installed, run it from Fallout New Vegas\FalloutNV.exe. Other than that, not sure what the cause is. the ini settings wouldn't do that, they just adjust your graphics options.
