11,723. Location. Twin Cities. I have both and love both, but in my opinion the tikka t3x is much nicer - especially if you get it in the "ss lite" configuration. The only way I would by 1500 over t3X is if I wanted to shoot 25-06 or the like out of a 24" barrel instead of 22" (which is why I have my 1500).

If you want to take one shot, wait for the barrel to cool (5 min) then repeat.
