Revit stores the basic length unit in feet, regardless of the project's specified unit of measurement. This means that almost all dimensions have significant rounding errors. Even 4 inches is 0.3333.. of a foot.

Unfortunately, I am pretty sure there is no way to alter the dimension string with a jog symbol.. Usually we put a dashed line/jog line on either side of the croped view, and that works great for us.
