Introduction. BRICS is a term used to refer to 5 emerging countries with a lot of economic and political influence in the world: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The BRICS "currency" is mis-named it will be a super-currency only used by central banks for large international transactions. It will be like the idea of "bankcor notes" envisioned by JM Keynes.
