I don’t mind a tragic ending at all, but it really did not feel like the movie earned that ending. It felt like a twist for the sake of a twist and made the movie feel like a soap opera. All of the atmosphere and feeling that had been built up for the last 2 hours suddenly got upended by “He was dead the whole time!”

Our 9 and 5 year old boys, enjoyed it the most, our 13 year old girl wasn’t as enthusiastic, although it wasn’t a total fail to her. My hubby and I loved it.
