Feel free to post one book or multiple books. For me, the books I consider perfect are Les Miserables, Don Quixote, Watership Down and The Iliad (there's bound to be more but for the time being these are the ones that pop into my head). Les Miserables - it's tragic but also immensely life-affirming. Umineko and The House in Fata Morgana are what I consider to be some of the best visual novels ever made. Higurashi is also pretty high up on that list too. MajikoiA3When. • 3 yr. ago. Raging Loop is a visual novel that similar to Danganronpa in the "who dunnit" murder mystery but without the gameplay. Luke I appreciate the way the gospel is put forward in this book. It's the one I find myself re-reading the most. John is probably the best for overall theology of the meaning of Christ's sacrifice but Luke does a great job of clearly pointing out the events that took place. BONUS LEAST FAVORITE BOOK Berserk is one of the best works of fantasy ever. It's a combination of gratuitous violence, extraordinarily detailed art, competent character writing, a strong commitment to themes, and a postmodern dialogue of fantasy and manga tropes that even Erikson can't match. If you've ever enjoyed a comic, you'll enjoy Berserk.

Luke I appreciate the way the gospel is put forward in this book. It's the one I find myself re-reading the most. Alcoholism. Football. Thinking about it mine would have to be the acceptance of the impossibility of objectivity. Many books deal with the impossibility of objectivity but not many attempt to show how to accept it. My favorite part of a book, which can be a theme for some authors, is exploiting expectations.

For the world of their centre where their lives burn genuinely and with a free flame. The best ever is Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake, then Book of the New Sun by Wolfe. The Witcher books are also literally medieval, and Joe Abercrombie's new series is fantastic as well. The Once and Future King is great. It's about King Arthur, Merlin, and the Knights of the Round Table! The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.I discovered Joe Abercrombie last year, blitzed through the First Law trilogy, immediately read the first two books of the new trilogy then realised he wrote three books between them! I haven't read Wisdom of Crowds (if that's the name) but I've just started The Heroes. I can't get enough.

Larry McCabe, "101 Easy Fingerstyle Guitar Solos", published by Mel Bay.
