A large but very docile Hen. Bluebelle Chickens are quite a large breed and often have quite long legs. Some can have a fairly dark collar whereas some may have a grey. They are said to be a cross between a Rhode Island Red and Maran. They lay very well, the Eggs being a beautiful dark brown.

Apr 3, 2019 · hi I have a few 5 week old praire bluebell eggers amongst other breeds that were all sexed female. There is one bluebell in particular that I’m not sure of the sex. She/he still has a yellow comb, not big. If it wasn’t for her/his markings I would think female. I do have adult bluebells and had a bluebell rooster But he was black and white.
