Peltier marble identification.

A thought, (if) it had a MORE stronger pink, one might put it into the Peltier "Coral" family type. The Peltier Glass Company was one of the most prolific and innovative manufacturers of glass marbles in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Any Peltier "Bruiser", will have a blue or green patch on a colored transparent base. This is what most look for , but could be many other family versions of this. One may also think that an opaque black base with a green or blue patch would possibly fall into this also. some patch Peltiers do carry names, differently than ribbon types.

Peltier Blue Galaxy? by calypsohjd » Sat Aug 06, 2016 4:00 am. found these on eBay and I wanted to get your opinion on the blue base marble with yellow and black ribbons. The black has AV in it. The surface is kind of rough and under magnification you can see what looks like dirt in the pin holes and crevices.

As time progressed they had to cut cost and the glass, colors and quality got less due to cost cutting because of competition. The NLR were the older and better quality and the Rainbo's are later lesser quality Peltier marbles.
