The crowd that gathered to watch the parade was just a little more than a hundred spectators.The Festival on the 4th delivers a wide variety of family fun including entertainment, activities and treats at the City of Knoxville's 4th of July celebration at the World's Fair Park. The free festival begins at 5 p.m. and ends at approximately 10 p.m. at the conclusion of the fireworks display. This event is RAIN OR SHINE.The “Salute to the 4 th of July” Community Fireworks Show will take place at 3200 Robertson Park Road on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. and last 20 minutes. Fireworks will be launched from the softball fields.
