Students pay a $75 lifetime membership fee to join the group. Additionally, NSHSS members can qualify to join the group in multiple ways. Short answer, no. It's not a scam or anything, but it literally adds zero to your resumé, costs money, and there are better options out there for "high achieving" students. Money is better spent on membership in a professional organization related to your major if possible. It’s not even old, made in 94.
