Missoula and Montana are great in the summer months but the winters are long and dark. Winter feels like it lasts for 8 months out of the year. If you want to move here, Id strongly recommend visiting in the winter to see if your family likes it. I struggle myself cause I go to work in the dark and leave in the dark.
