Floors are never short on nurses thanks to resource pool. New grads can start at level 1 resource pool and base pay is $45/hr. 1 year experience is $55/hr. 2 years experience (level 3) is 65/hr base. Same rules for scheduling and overtime. Since my unit is new we typically have a couple of these resource nurses and it’s amazing.
