So in my opinion op should respec to lvl 5 thief and 1 ranger at lvl 6. Thief doesnt really get anything at lvl 6 so getting true strike is good. There is a bug at the moment which means that if you dual wield hand crossbows, it applies your Dex ability modifier to the damage of both hand crossbows i.e. including the off-hand crossbow, even without the Two Weapon Fighting style, which it really shouldn't.
