What I have recently learned, however, is that M*CARBO now makes a spring kit (main spring and firing pin spring) that sells for about $15 and is supposed to lower the trigger pull on a Micro 9 from 6#+ to 3 1/2 to 4#. They even have a nice video showing how to do the job. The kit is due to arrive early next week.

Looks very similar to my 1911. Push the firing pin in from the back and slide the lock plate down. Be careful when removing the lock plate that you don't launch the pin. Not sure how strong that spring is. That is the way to remove the firing pin from the Micro 9.
