Dell computer blinking orange.

I have an older Dell Latitude laptop. Yesterday the battery light began to blink orange. I've read some of the suggestions on forum pages. OK, I'm game. I'll take the battery out, but how? Been working on a Dell Latitude E5410 which is bringing me problem after problem. I now seem to have all my previous issues sorted but still one major issue remains - the battery will not charge. The battery light is constantly flashing orange. The laptop is recognizing there is a battery attached but will not charge it. Things I have tried:

Hello @gb755cs , I have the same problem that Zack123 mentioned. My Inspiron 3670 has boot up problems for the past 2 months, just randomly (maybe 4-5 times so far). I press power button, amber lights blinks, I unplug the power and plug pc in again and all works fine. I ran the support diagnostics and the only thing is shows failure for these.
