So i'd argue most martial classes are better off going "bladelock" for more actions. For example Paladin and Fighter both get extra attack at level 5, but they don't stack. But if you go Paladin and Warlock, you get extra attack from both of them which is huge. Ofc you still get all the spellcasting bonuses from Warlock too.

It seems Extra Attack from Swords Bard stacks with Pact of the Blade Warlock's Extra Attack, so you can actually do both by going Fighter (1) / Swords Bard (6) / Warlock (5) for permanent 3 Attacks per Action. BG3 Bladelock statlines are much more varied because of different armour choices/ we don't know for sure if heavy armour will have STR reqs/ there seem to be a fair few items that change your ability scores so I can't really suggest an 'after' statline.
It's alot easier to go into dueling for most gish builds like Bladelock or EK. Definitely not true for bladelock. Hex applies to all attacks. Dual wielding adds an extra attack so it's a pretty significant increase. You are entitled to your opinion, but most of the time dual-weilding or two handed weapons, on average, deal more damage.

A build can be either for Role-Play, Flavour, Optimization or even experimentation. A full class BladeLock can be very strong. But perhaps not as strong as a Multiclass one. For example 2 levels of Paladin is Massive for a bladelock the same way a 1 (3 in bg3) level dip in Hexblade (pact of the blade in bg3) is a game changer for Paladin.
