Godr-Ayed Weapons are a good alternative to the TET Blackstar weapons, since you get additional AP for each enhancement level, putting you into higher AP brackets, and the enhancements are also step by step with progression over time. However, the Godr-Ayed weapon gets much harder to enhance if you are going past TRI/TET all the way to PEN.
The bottom line is blackstar is huge in PvE. It’s even great in PvP as a blackstar at pen is more viable than a caphras 20 kzarka and has the same stats. But a pen kzarka with a few caphras levels is much easier to get than a pen blackstar, so going blackstar is a very late decision for a pvp focused player (630+ GS IMO).
