Professors are allowed to fail students, and several per year at other vet schools are either held back to repeat a year or drop out all together.Once you’ve completed your medical, dental, or other health professional school interviews, help other students by leaving your feedback on the interview! Graduates from both schools do well. The larger contingent favors UT. I recommend A&M in your case, since A&M has the only vet school in TX. It also has its own med sch. UT schools are separate and are more established. They rank higher, but A&M is a rapidly rising school. The more you read, the better your vocabulary will become to be and that’ll help for the GRE. I personally am no where's near that number of animal experience hours, despite living on a farm my entire life working with cows, horses, chickens, etc.But what I'd really recommend is the Color Atlas of Veterinary Anatomy, Volume 3, The Dog and Cat by Done, Goody, Evans, and Stickland. They also have a horse edition Color Atlas of Veterinary Anatomy.
