Lml duramax crank no start.

The duramax engine has a long history of breaking cranks at that location. This is so much of a common issue that people have created cam shafts with altered firing orders to try to remove the stress from that point on the crank. If it has signal from the key every time then the problem is the starter. If its not getting power when triggered it is before the starter and needs to be traced back. -Aaron- .

Check your filter. If there is air in it and you can't prime it with the pump on the housing, you can either rebuild or replace the housing. Loosen the bleeder valve, pump the pump. It's easier if you pull off some of the intake tubing. If you don't ever start pumping fuel the pump/housing is probably sucking air.
