Turn off the fuel at the tank and remove the screw from the center of the petcock handle. Remove all of the phillips screws and the two 6mm (10mm head) bolts at the back of the tank holding the tank cover on. Take the gas cap up and remove the tank cover.

It has two large wires (one coming directly from the battery) and two small wires connected to it. One ride told me I didn't want one due to the suspension. It rode like the old Honda 350 4x4 with the solid front axle.
