The problem with using HP when CCS is going has come and gone all spring. My guess is something wrong is Valve Block on the planter that is not letting the CCS circuit return its oil free without restriction back to the tractor. When this happens it creates pressure in the tractor and that is why I pop hoses out.

Have a new to me JD 1760 12 row planter with the factory ground drive. So far when planting soybeans it seems the actual population is lower than the rate chart says it should be.
