The Surefit settings will assist with direction/height and the weight assists with curvature, but the beauty of the system is that it can always be changed back.

If swing path on the monitor says you are coming in square but you are 48 degrees open, sounds like you may be gripping the club way too weak and so when you swing down properly, the face is way open. I would get a pro to take a look.
