Anyway, not counting the limited OEM accessories in NA, there’s at least one and possibly two differences between the XV and the Crosstrek. 1. The cup holders are side by side in the XV but front and back in the Crosstrek. 2. I think everywhere the XV is sold, the towing capacity is listed at 3086 lbs while the Crosstrek is paper limited to 1500.

Two months ago, I took my 2017 Crosstrek into the dealer for new brakes. They informed me that the left lower ball joint also needed to be replaced. When doing the replacement, the tech damaged the CV Boot. Both are issues that 2014+ owners never had to deal with.
