Like I said, after 1.0 I don't use mini-turrets or autocannons, because of uranium turrets. The range, damage, and accuracy window is far superior and can take of limbs and insta kill with one shot (of course they cost more though). I probably will use auto cannons when I start building my ship to take out enemies who overwhelm the uranium turrets. Uranium maces have so much armor penetration and the fact they do blunt damage means you can forget about having any hopes your armor will deflect any damage coming from this weapon.
