Currently the lever trip link options 2 and 3 are only designed to fit the full size/reverse stretch sizes and will only work on a semi-auto bolt carrier with the removable sear trip service, but some people already have the removable sear trip mod and/or prefer all-metal parts (in theory the metal link option 3 should last the longest since it's all metal).
