Score, no. Well not exactly. If you don't kill all champions and get a "platinum" score you absolutely won't get an exotic. If you do get "platinum" it's a 25% or 33% drop rate for legend or master respectively. The actual number score doesn't matter though. If I were to take a wild guess I'd say drop rate is 1 in 5 to 1 in 10.

If it's on the moon, automatic nope - wait til they're on the cosmodrome or europa. I only do legends - Master Lost Sectors have a 10% exotic drop increase which is not worth the additional difficulty. The difficulties only inflated by light level so as long as youre leveled high enough the master is a cakewalk.
