During my last pregnancy, I kept getting obvious indent/"ghost" lines before I got a light pink/thick (smudgy like) 2nd line at 12dpo..full on on dark on dollar store and actually light on frer on 13dpo.9 dpo today and tested using first response. If your very first, faint positive is at 16dpo, that will not be a viable pregnancy. Implantation after 12dpo (so 13+) is scientifically proven to lead to loss.
