6 GHz WiFi Access Point Disconnected. FiOS. I just hooked up my new router (CR1000B) and was excited to try out the 6ghz wifi. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and an iPad Pro 6th generation that both support it. However, I could not get it to show up in my wifi settings. I also checked the connection under the devices tab and it was at 5GHz, not 6.
Odd. I also tried the Ookla sites: 300/0 (yes "0") vs. 300/300 (verizon). Furthermore, with the CR1000A (after VZ ha done and end-to end reset) the speeds were about 300/300 exactly. When I went back the old router VZ Speeds went to something like 290/340. Makes me wonder if the "end-to-end reset" may have tweaked the CR1000A for speed tests. Currently we have the following setup with a 1gpbs Fios plan. From my understanding, the CR1000A acts as a MoCA adapter itself and will allow us to use a single MoCA adapter in other rooms of the house as long as coax cable is available. Though the Asus grabbed the 2.4ghz band when the cr1000 inevitably crapped the bed, 2.4ghz was slow\low bandwidth with around 12mb\s max. If the cr1000 rebooted for any reason, all devices would connect to the Asus @2.4 and not connect back to the cr1000 @5\6 (useless beyond 5ft from router)untill I manually rebooted the Asus.

This happens over Wi-Fi AND direct ethernet over the CR1000A when IPv6 is enabled. You must disable IPv6 and THEN ALSO REBOOT IT to resolve the issue.
