Ford f150 turns over but wont start.

2010 F-150 V-8. When I turn the key to start it, the motor cranks over but does not start. And, unless I manually turn the key back to the off position, the motor continues to crank over until I turn the key off manually. What's been replaced so far by an auto repair shop): 1. Received 229 Likes on 178 Posts. To check the fuel pressure you screw a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail. Ground pin #6 of the self-test plug and turn on the key. The gauge should read 40psi.
