It's actually the only rapier in the game that naturally scales better with strength if I recall correctly. It's pretty good but the damage might start to get lackluster, and I think it's more suited to PvP. If you just want to destroy everything, the Red Iron Twinblade is pretty damn awesome. estoc uninfused for str builds.

Even with a quality build, the spear's AR is never really going to be high enough to warrant its slower attack speed. You'll end up killing mob enemies in, say, 3 hits, the same number it would take with the estoc. And the estoc will do it much faster, with a much shorter delay between combos.

The Estoc 1H R2 is quite simply the best move in the game. Not only does it pierce shields, but it is extremely fast, can combo into a normal stab, and even out-ranges spears/rapier pokes.
