I run Ophidia Spathe exclusively on my Hunter, and I have to say that middle tree gunslinger is one of the best ways to go. You can use an arc cloak which has the mods "hands-on" which gives you super energy on melee kills. The perk "playing with fire" Regens your melee quicker the more kills you get while an enemy is burning with your knife.Ophidia Spathe should apply its new damage buff to any ranged melee and not just to solar knives. Bungie Suggestion The new buffs for Ophidia have been a very nice addition, but I don't see why it needs to be locked to solar only when it could be for every throwable melee (stasis/strand).
Can confirm it does not work. Nope ophidia spathe doesnāt work with the stasis shuriken. It used to work back when BL just launched but this was clearly unintentional and was patched out. It didnt give you two shurikens back per cooldown but it did give you an extra slot/charge. (bringing the total to 3) Just for clarification - Every charge of Knife Trick is worth two charges due to Ophidia. This means that every 3 seconds (with 3 stacks), you have a pair of charges to play with. Even after using one, the second will recharge and give you two charges back (never more than two though).
