When i got back to my Exiled Lands character i was shocked that the armor i used before turned out to be useless. Solved it by farming for Dragonhide Helmet and Solspeil shield but that's not an option for PvP, i guess, as you can't just re-craft it if you lose it, you have to farm for it again which can take days, even weeks maybe. Skelos Cultist Master armor has good cold resistence and its not too difficult to make, although it does require raw ash so you'd probably need to access the volcano to get enough ash.
