Tsportline designs 18" wheels compatible with Teslas. Smaller wheel means bigger tire so better absorption of minor road details and noise. It's a good hack instead of messing with the springs and suspension. In my case, I wanted a good hybrid tire for different roads including rocks, dirt and sand.

Still have the factory tires on the M-Y but I had cross climate on my M-3, and they seemed to be wearing pretty well, the noise was better than the factory tires (the cross climates did not have foam cores), and the wh/m went up to about 255 from 250, very modest impact. All in all I thought the cross-climate tires were great.

The result is a lot closer to real-world performance, and it resulted in the 'EPA mileage number' dropping about 10%. With no other changes, the MYP went from 303 miles to 285 miles.
