The one in the gun is stiffer. The one that is extra is a weaker spring. If you're having extracting issues use that. They make an even weaker one on eBay for like $8. I had to run that with my suppressor and subs and had zero issues. I just figured out one spring is shorter…I'm assuming the shorter one is the "softer" spring.

The usual concern with rimfires is that the FP will dent the breach face. Thats not the problem with the GSG/Sig, because the FP will stop short of the barrel.
