One major one that was getting on my nerves was chainloading fusee.bin from hekate as this would often black screen on me and require a hard reset on the switch, it was OK loading from hekate_ipl.ini file and calling package3 though.
Once you populate the keys you can use the "Loader", "ES", "FS" and "NFIM" tabs to generate the files. All tabs have the "Make Patch" button, you can press the button to search for the file/folder or drag and drop the file/folder on the button and the patches will be generated.

Atmosphere says nothing. Most of the time it crashes on the first screen but a few times It'll progress to a logo screen. Then the screen turns black and the switch just boots into normal OS/firmware. Turn it all the way off and I can still auto rcm like nothing happened. That means if you start with hekate, you need to click the payloads button and then select Fusee-Primary or it won’t work. If you don’t have Fusee-primary in the menu after clicking payloads that means you need to go download fusee primary. You can find fusee-primary at the Atmosphere Github. It’s under the releases page.
1) yes you can use the latest atmosphere with older fw 2) the only benefits is whatever the latest atmosphere version does.
