The last two times it happened, I pulled the canister, blew through the hose, cleared the code and it was good for two or three months.

chevy 2010 traverse with 3.6 after filling gas tank will not start without cranking engine for extended time period. once started it will start every time until you fill the tank. the fuel tank pressure sensor and vapor canister vent valve have been replaced. it still shows dtc po446 p0498 po449 when scanner is connected. The test has to have 3 cold starts (usually 8 hours min) to show as ready/complete. If you keep the tank filled up, the EVAP will not run and will show as not ready.The PCM uses the purge valve to diagnose the EVAP system by keeping it open and the canister vent solenoid closed. This causes the fuel tank pressure sensor to determine whether or not a vacuum is present if the system is sealed.
